About us
Human Dimensions and Disaster Management Research Group is a team of research enthusiasts who are interested in conducting research in the area of disaster management and human dimensions. The group consists of members with diverse research interest and skills which allows the team to conduct multidisciplinary research.
We are interested to work on human behavior towards disaster. Our focus is on quantitative research. However, we are also enthusiastic to do qualitative research. We try to understand how the community perceive certain disaster, how they prepare and response. We are working on wide range of hazards including natural and biological types. We believe that the national and international authority could get essential information from our research outcome. We are looking for collaboration with other interested researchers.

Our vision is to be the leading research group in Human Dimensions and Disaster Management field of Bangladesh. We want to create a platform and community of scholars where the present scholars and future scholars would get connected through this platform to shape the future.
